Yes, when you order a virtual gift online, you will receive an acknowledgement and email with a tax receipt immediately. For phone and mail orders you will receive a tax receipt for any donation greater than $20 whether you buy a gift for yourself or give to someone else. When placing an order for virtual gifts online, you can select and send a free e-card, mailed greeting card or a PDF card, just prior to checkout. A link to the PDF greeting card will be sent to you via email.

If you order by telephone, we are happy to mail you greeting cards, email you a PDF card, or schedule an e-card on your behalf.

Online gift purchases can be paid for with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. If you mail in your donation you may also pay by cheque, made payable to the Canadian Cancer Society. If you order by phone you can pay by credit card only.
Yes. Immediately after you complete your online virtual gift purchase, you will receive an order confirmation and tax receipt via email. If you purchase your virtual gifts over the phone, you will have the option to have your order confirmation and tax receipt sent via email or mail. If you have completed a mail-in form, you will receive an order confirmation and tax receipt three weeks after we have processed your gift order.
